WHY AM I
DOING THIS?
I have been in the Merchant Services
Industry since 1992 and over the years I have helped
train - - and
retrain - - over 1,000 agents. In the early
stages of my career, the programs / services available
to merchants were limited to credit card acceptance and
check services. Verifone was pretty much the only
equipment manufacturer with any name recognition.
Agents could market a product or service with relative
ease. The
times today are vastly different! The continuing
maturation of the internet and the increasing
availability of merchant services in the market place is
occurring at breakneck speed. It is shamefully
apparent that most of the agents in the
industry today are NOT sufficiently
trained!
Since the success of any sales organization
begins with comprehensive training then if an agent is
not properly trained how can the business owner receive
adequate information in order to make that all
important “intelligent
business decision”?
I have witnessed this “lack of knowledge”
first hand in my personal consultations with
business owners over the last several years. With
the amount of confusing and conflicting information
business owners are bombarded with, I have determined
it’s more important than ever to enlighten the business
